Charleston Yu is the Principal at Athena Group LLP, based in Anchorage, Alaska. He has completed over $1 billion worth of high-end project design and construction, and has collaborated with clients from Fortune 500 companies, major cultural institutions, and leading development firms.

With over 25 years of experience in architecture, project development and management, construction administration, and CRE investments, Mr. Yu has worked for internationally recognized architectural firms and contributed to award-winning projects throughout the United States and Asia.

Mr. Yu's specialty in architecture extends to designing technical building envelope systems for high-profile commercial buildings, utilizing the latest construction methods and technology. Mr. Yu also serves as a technical consultant for complex projects.

Prior to founding Athena Group LLP, Mr. Yu was responsible for the Master Plan and design of an AIA award-winning $500M hi-tech corporate campus in Silicon Valley. He also led the development, design, and management of a $50M luxury condominium in downtown Bellevue, Washington. In addition, he has completed the construction management of a $200M ski resort and hotel project in Girdwood, Alaska.

Mr. Yu holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an M.Arch from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a BFA in Architectural Design from École Parsons à Paris in France.

He has also completed graduate studies at Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD) and École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the International Code Council (ICC).
